Fall Writing

Please provide four writing samples as you finish analyzing your student writing pieces. Provide one sample per rubric score.Please send a class writing summary sheet with total of students per rubric score with your samples.   Turn in by December 16. These pieces will be future anchor papers.

If you need a copy of the rubrics or a class summary sheet email me. I will be happy to provide these for you.
You will be able to enter your writing scores into Filemaker Pro. tomorrow at the earliest.

DRA/QRI Window Opens Friday Oct. 1!

On Friday October 1, the DRA/QRI window opens. Please start getting all your  materials ready.  There have been some minor adjustments to the DRA ceilings, make sure you check the new ceilings out.
Do Not Assess beyond the ceiling!

Keep an eye open for new DRA ceilings.  They should be available within the next week.  If you are eager to see where your readers are before the DRA window opens, do a quick running record!  Happy Thursday!
